September 2008
A GREAT 2008!
This year has proved to be one of the best years in the Area VI Young Rider Program to date and we have YOU to thank! Not only is our membership full of very enthusiastic members, amazing hard working parents and volunteers, we are the 2008 North American Young Rider Champions!!!
We are champions because Area VI has organizers, volunteers, support groups and the best riders in the United States and we proved it.
Give yourselves a huge pat on the back and be proud to be apart of the best Young Rider Program around!
SPONSORS
We have many people to thank for allowing our program to grow and benefit us all. Every organizer in Area VI has generously donated vendor space to the program to allow us to run our Rent-A-Young Rider Program as well as our Pancake Breakfast and the Friday night dinners. Remember this is a very big benefit to our program and if you ever run into a volunteer at a show, an official, judge, secretary or organizer you should always thank them for their time and support because without those people our sport would be non-existent.
In addition we all owe a big THANK YOU to Kevin Kress and Antares Saddlery for donating thousands of dollars in product to our program. They have agreed to donate again for the 2009 season. It’s truly an amazing contribution to our program.
Also our amazing sponsors for NAJYRC, we have a list of the many companies and people on our Area VI Young Rider website and banner who have sponsored Championships and Thank You for your generosity.
SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS!
The Young Rider Program would like to Congratulate Gina Miles and her wonderful mount McKinglaigh, along with the owners Thom Shulz and Laura Coates on an enormous accomplishment by competing and winning the individual silver medal at the Olympics in Beijing.
Gina you are truly an inspiration to us all for dreaming and achieving your dream. We would also like to thank Thom and Laura for being amazing supporters of our sport.
Its truly an honor to have all of you represent West Coast Eventing and the Untied States.
THANK YOU!
